The cumulative effects of racial hostility that people of color experience. Some of the symptoms or effects can be depression, anxiety, poor sleep, elevated blood pressure, poor appetite and digestion. These conditions can cause long-term health issues, affect ones sense of well-being and affect your ability to to achieve your goals. Many people have been personally affected or are witnesses to police brutality, acts of violence, genocide and various other injustices. Many of us have been engaging in ways to organize, speak out and protest these heinous acts.

HOW CAN AURICULAR ACUPUNCTURE HELP?

Auricular (Ear) Acupuncture has been known for its ability to calm the nervous system down out of its fight or flight response. Continued treatment can help to reduce issues like anxiety, poor sleep, poor digestion to offset the impact of racial battle fatigue.

FREE ACUPUNCTURE FOR YOU

I am offering free ear acupuncture treatments for those engaging in activism, protests and community organizing as well as those who have been affected by racial discrimination, police brutality or other violent acts. Each person is given 3-5 free treatments, given on a weekly basis. Each visit is approximately 30 minutes long. After completing your treatments you can receive a discounted rate in order to continue.

REQUIREMENTS

You are required to sign a consent form and complete a health history intake online. You are required to give your legal first and last name and email address. I ask that you are respectful of my time and energy by coming to your scheduled visits and adhering to the 24 hour cancellation policy. Please do not commit to appointments that you will not be able to show up for. Late cancellations and no-shows will forfeit the rest of your treatments. My clinic is a mask required space. You will be required to wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth in order to enter. Surgical masks are provided.
